In addition to groundwater recharge initiatives, AKAH promotes protecting existing water supply sources. It is committed to conserving and improving and replenishing borewells, handpumps, wells in water-stressed areas. This is done by repair and construction. By focusing on the preservation and restoration of these vital water sources, AKAH aims to enhance the resilience and well-being of communities, particularly those most in need.
