The case study discusses an initiative in Vasai, aimed at providing an alternative source of revenue generation for families through beekeeping farming. The initiative involves setting up microenterprises focused on beekeeping farming for families and women self-help groups in Vasai. The beneficiaries were provided with a total of 25 boxes, with Apis cerana bee. For farming, safety purposes, and extraction, Hive Stand, Bee Veil, Smoker, and hive tool were also given. The beneficiaries received training and resources to enable them to operate the microenterprises.
